Loyal and devoted are the words that come to mind when we think of Trigger. This amazing dog has been with us since he was born -- he’s the son of Jamie’s chocolate lab, Zoey. Jamie hand-picked Trigger from the litter to work on his team, starting at just eight weeks old. Taught entirely by Jamie, Trigger’s training took 2.5 years, and has lead to hundreds of successful searches. He’s trained in obedience, off-leash searches, search and rescue, scent-specific area searches, scent-specific trailing and remains detection. Trigger’s specialty is aged searches when a pet has been missing for over two weeks. However, Trigger is happy doing any task you throw at him; he’ll always have a smile on his face.

 

In Trigger’s downtime, you’ll find him eating anything he can get his paws on. From carrots and lettuce to a huge juicy steak, Trigger will eat it all. At the end of the day, no matter how many dog beds we get Trigger or couches we let him lay on, Trigger will always prefer to take a snooze in his crate.
