Sometimes it really is a wonderful life.
And if a 13-year-old collie named Clarence could talk, he'd tell you it's so.
Clarence, who has arthritis, doesn't see all that well and is a little hard of hearing, went missing last Sunday in his Whip-Poor-Will Circle neighborhood where he's lived his whole life.
Ninety-one in dog years, Clarence spent three days lost in the woods surrounding the home of his human family and an untold number of hours lying exhausted and forlorn in a water-filled hole carved out of the ground by a fallen tree.
